Spotify is an internet radio application that allows you to access the service's immense music library.

Music streaming services need to be platform and device agnostic in order to be truly successful. Spotify's web application is one step towards achieving this goal as anyone can now use Spotify within a Flash supported web browser.

If you've ever used Spotify's Windows or Mac applications, you'll feel right at home. On the left, you'll find a navigation bar to access new release, search, playlists, and radio. You can browse artists and tracks in the middle. On the right is the music player, which is persistent so you can browse the app while music continues playing.

The application has lots of options but is missing any type of social features. On the desktop versions of Spotify, you have a Facebook-like ticker, which shows the activity of your Spotify friends. The Spotify web app does not have this. Hopefully Spotify can integrate this feature before it comes out of beta.

Spotify's immense music library and ease of use make it one of the best internet music streaming services available. This web app will help Spotify continue to be a dominant player against rivals like rdio and Pandora.
