Spotify for Windows Phone 8 is getting a major update in the spring. Currently, the Windows Phone app lacks the radio and browse features currently found in the Android and iOS apps. With the spring update, Windows Phone users should be all caught up.
Radio, Browse, and Discover sections will be added to help user create personalized radio stations and discover new music. The update also brings a complete redesign that match’s Microsoft’s flat design aesthetic.
The update will roll out to Spotify Premium subscribers first but will roll out to Spotify Free users afterward. The company has not announced a specific date yet.
